Event 17 · Kids & Adults BJJ Round Robin
Melbourne Championships Event 17 brought together athletes, families and academies from across Victoria for another unforgettable day of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition. From first time competitors to experienced grapplers, MC17 delivered nonstop matches, strong sportsmanship and an atmosphere built around fun, growth and community.
One of the standout features of MC17 was the no coaching rule during kids matches. Athletes competed freely, trusted their instincts and enjoyed the experience without pressure from the sidelines.
The venue was filled with encouragement, excitement and respect throughout the entire day. Families and competitors created an environment where everyone felt welcome.
The round robin structure gave athletes valuable mat time across Gi and No Gi divisions, helping competitors gain confidence and experience in a professional setting.
